The Second Day- Sola Scriptura

AELW1:23
"Other, unnecessary information about the nature of the angels (angels of darkness and the devil) and the like he(Moses) passed over. Therefore, we should not be expected to say more about this whole business either, especially since the New Testament too, deals in a rather limited way with this doctrine; it adds nothing beyond the fact that they have been condemned and are held bound in prison, as it were, until the Day of Judgment (Rev. 20:2,7)"

Here Luther affirms that it is proper to not let our minds wander by creating and filling in what we perceive as missing points of scripture. We should let scripture interpret scripture. The Word of God is all that we need to show us our salvation has already been won.
