Psalm 92:6-8 - Dumb & Dumber=>No. Invisible & Christ = Yes

"[The Church's] entire structure is inward in the presence of God, invisible"

Psalm 92 Verses 6 thru 8
6       The stupid man cannot know; the fool cannot understand this:
   7       that though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish,
   they are doomed to destruction forever;
   8       but you, O LORD, are on high forever.

AELW 11:229
"This is so because Christ’s work and creation, the church, does not appear to be anything outwardly, but her entire structure is inward in the presence of God, invisible. And so it is not known to physical eyes but to spiritual ones, in the understanding and faith. But the senseless despise her, because they know only what is outwardly impressive, as is stated in what follows, When the wicked shall spring up as grass (v. 7), as if to say: “Your work does not have the appearance and is not blooming as those people want it to flourish. And so they are scandalized and offended by it.”

Psalm 92:1-2 - Mercy & Truth belong to the new creation

  1       It is good to give thanks to the LORD,
   to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
   2       to declare your steadfast love in the morning,
   and your faithfulness by night,
   3       to the music of the lute and the harp,
   to the melody of the lyre.

AELW 11:229
"ALTHOUGH this psalm can be explained as dealing with the works of creation, it is more fittingly explained as dealing with the new creation, which is the church in Christ. Eph. 2:10: “We are His workmanship, created for good works.” Gal. 6:15: “In Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but a new creation.” James 1:18: “That we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creation.” Rev. 21:5: “Behold, I make all things new.” That this is what the psalm has in mind is clear from the following:

First, because he says that these works which are to be proclaimed and praised are mercy and truth (v. 2). But mercy and truth belong to the new creation."
